Microsoft Access database engine could not find

Hello, 



I have purchased a new laptop with windows 10 installed. I have also installed various versions of the AccessDatabaseEngine to try and get this working. But anytime I try to perform an ExecuteQuery on a shapefile I get the “The Microsoft Access database engine could not find the object ‘ShapefileName’” error. The only way i can get the ExecuteQuery to work is by renaming my shapefile to 8 characters. 

Is there something else i’m missing to get the working as normal? I’m currently using DesktopEdition 8

Hi Jesse, 
  
 Have you tried that in other machine like a VM machine? 
  
 Or you can try to install this package: microsoft.com/download/en/confirmation.aspx?id=23734 
  
 One of my test machine met same issue, I install that package and switch debug mode to x86, then solved that.
