What is the procedure for moving our license to another production server?
We have exceeded the capacity of our present production server and are being forced to move website to a more powerful host.
We would like for our downtime to be minimized in the transition.
Do we install the Web Edition program on the new server as if it were the only server? Or do we first disable the old? What exactly is the procedure to follow?

Another production server license is required if you transfer the application to another server. I don’t think you need to install the Web Edition on the new server again, because it’s a server and just for deployment. So let’s introduce the steps:
1. Install the “WebEdition Server Prepare Tool” to register the server license.
2. Copy the published application to the server.
3. Deploy the published application to IIS.
4. Disable the old server and active the new one.
