I’m trying to display two MrSid images that represent Kingsbury county and Miner county, South Dakota. The counties are contiguous, When the images are displayed in the map control, the images do not align (see attached screen shot). Bottom image appears to be displayed at an angle to the top image, and the map display shows black where the images do not align and on all the image borders.
The images are displayed using
1) External projection = EPSG 26914 (NAD84 / UTM zone 14N)
2) Internal Projection = EPSG 4326 (WGS-84)
3) MrSid Images downloaded from nrcs.usda.gov and both sets are for the year 2006)
Can this be corrected using the ThinkGeo API? If not, what is the recommended practice for displaying contiguous images?
Multiple MrSid images do not align
Hi Rudolph,
Thanks for your post, but I am sorry to say that your attached image seems not to be loaded successfully, would you please give it a check, and if possible would you please upload your data for us for a further test?
Waiting for your information.
Best Regards
Summer
Summer,
Thank you for your reply.
I’ve attached the screen shot. File name is 001_2014-03-18_09h12_01.png.
However, I’m unable to upload the MrSid files. For each county, I created a zip file that holds their MrSid file and supporting files. Each zip file is over 114,000 KB in size. Every time I attempt to upload one of the zip files, the wait icon appears and never goes away.
Is there another process for uploading files?
Thanks
Hi Rudolph,
