NHC Shapefiles not showing on map

Hello,

We are downloading shapefiles from NOAA/NHC. I cannot get them to show up on our map, however. I can load them in Google Earth just file. Our map unit is set to meters, not decimal degree, and I’m not sure if that makes a difference.

Any thoughts?
