Hey ThinkGeo Folks,
I have decided to try OpenStreetMaps as a base layer to see how it works, and it has been working great except for a slight issue I have been running into.
When drawing open street maps sometimes the layer doesn't draw in and shows up pink. I am not sure why this is and decided to pose it to the forum.
Why is this happening???

The pink tile means that something wrong happened when drawing the map, I’m not sure whether you can provide some details to us, such as what’s the version you are using, how the code looks like etc. And then we can address the error and show the resolution to you. Looking forward to your response.

I played around with your implementation of OpenStreetmaps at websamples.thinkgeo.com/ And I was able to reproduce this error.

Thanks for your post to tell us the information about pink issue. As far as we know this issue can be caused by many reasons, we haven’t find the reason in code via your description.
And I review the online sample “Use OpenStreetMap” in websamples.thinkgeo.com/, unlucky I haven’t reproduce it succeed.
So could you let us know what’s your environment for test and what’s the operation steps to recreate it? I think more detail information will be very helpful.
