Is it just me or is all of the OSM data gone from osmdata.thinkgeo.com/? All that is there are British Isles and land mass polygons. What happened to all of the other data?
OSM data gone?
Paul,
You're correct. OpenStreetMap recently changed the license governing their data, and their terms required us to destroy our local copies of their data (which was under the old license) and re-generate a new set. That process is underway now, though due to the size it takes 2 or 3 days to build a new set of OSM shapefiles from scratch.
The process is on track to be complete within the next 24 hours, after which you should see all of the data on our server once again.
Please note that it may take slightly longer than this (up to an additional 24 hours) for it to actually appear in your location; we use a content distribution network to maximize download speeds in various parts of the globe, which caches content from our server for 24-hour periods.
Thanks,

Cool. Good to know it’s on its way back. Thanks for the quick reply!
You're certainly welcome Paul, just let us know if you have any other questions.
