 InMemoryMarkerOverlay can be used for markers, for detail I think you can view the "Add a Marker" demo in our online sample. websamples.thinkgeo.com/

 I used InMemoryMarkerOverlay to add markers with SuppressingGridSize property set to 4. It works fine for thousand markers but for 50,000 markers javascript issue araises stating "Stop running the script" when i zoom in to the street level. Can you please suggest an overlay to handle more than 50,000 markers with good performance.

 I have know your problem. 
  
 Till now I don’t think there are some other overlay can have better performance for render your 50k markers at same time. 
  
 I will reply your question in ticket if we get result about that.
