Parameter Count Mismatch

Hello,


I have somewhat of an emergency issue. After upgrading from Web Edition 3 to 4/5 (this error happens in both), every time I zoon in and out of the map I get javascript errors

Error: Sys.ParameterCountException: Parameter count mismatch.


 


I am in IE9. I hadn't noticed these errors before the upgrade but I can't say for sure it wasn't happening. It definitely wasn't with IE 8 and 3.x mapsuite dlls.


 


Unfortunately, I do not have the 3.x dlls to roll back on anymore :(


 


My questions are A) is this a known issue with IE9? and B) can I receive assistance one way or the other on resolving this? We wanted to show our demo site to a customer but we can't at this time...

Hi Nelson,  
  
 We tested your page (maps.geotms.com/lynnma/) in four machines, both with IE 9.0.8112 , only one machine throw this error, the other three render fine and don’t have error when zoom and pan.  
  
 So I think maybe this related with your browser.  
  
 Could you try to clear your browser cache and test again? And maybe you can try to test in some other machines.

This doesn’t entirely seem to be the case (browser specific issues) but we are going to opt to rewrite the application for a couple of other reasons so we can consider this closed. If I have any similar issues I’ll post back here.

We are having this issue with a site on IE 9 as well.  Do you have any suggestions to troubleshoot?

Hello Jeff, 
  
 Sometimes the update panel eats your internal exception and throw this JavaScript Exception. Could you please remove your UpdatePanel temporarily so you can see the real exception directly? 
  
 Also if you can provide a small sample let us recreate the problem, that will be thankful.

I found that I had IE in debug mode which caused the errors.  I don’t see the issue with people that don’t have IE in debug mode.
