Patial Install of World Map Kit

I have limited disk space on my machine and don't have enough for the 30gb required for the install.  Is there a way to do a partial install of the World Map Kit and if so how is it done?  Thanks

 I think we can make a package without data or with compact data which is only for development.

For most of our customers the World Map Kit is  used as a complete background data solution and thus it is not really designed to allow for only a portion of the data to be extracted. The DVD is setup to have the entire dataset extracted in one process so you may need to utilize a USB Hard Drive or a Network drive to extract the World Map Kit dataset.

   We have a developers version that we use here at ThinkGeo.  What we do is we extract all the files and then remove all of the states except California.  This cuts down the data access size quite a bit and that is what we put on all of our developers boxes.  This allows us to test and use the World Map Kit without having to use up all the space.
