I have been working with shapefiles and Desktop Edition 3. I need to work with Personal Geodatabase files. I found the same of how to load one, and got that to work. However, I could not find any documentation on FDO libraries. Is there somewhere that I can get the documentation, examples of selecting, editing, adding, deleting, etc. with Personal Geodatabase files?

I agree with you that we do need more documentation on the FDO stuff; we will put more efforts on the documentations including the FDO stuff in next stage. FDO (Feature Data Object) library is a group of C (C++) library developed and maintained in OGC group. See more detailed information from its website.

We do a .net Wrapper to this library to integrate into Map Suite library, which is the way we used in our sample. Unfortunately, we do not support any editing up to now. Sorry for the inconvenience for now.

Though we do not support editing through the FDO extension the GeoDatabase is in MS Access format. You maybe be able to look into the database and view the table structure etc. Examining the tables it may be easy to determine how to delete items. If you send us the database, if it is not huge, we could take a look and maybe come up with some SQL commands to help you do the editing. No promises but we are willing to look and I hava a hunch we can get something going.
