PolylineM for Shapefiles

We have a user who is interested in incorporating use of PolylineM. I notice in the ShapeFileType enumeration, it reads the Z and M variations of geometries are not supported. However, I am able to add the layer successfully to the map.


What is the status of this?


What functions and what does not, if anything?

 Yes, as you found, when we read data from PolylineM or PolylineZ(in fact, PolygonM & PolygonZ included), we ignore the Z or M variation values , we just read the X & Y. 
  
 We probably need to enhance this later.
