Query Tool

 Hi,


 


I am working on a module of query tool  in an application wherein there is a main form containing the added layers.


There is another  query tool form which executes the user formed query .


The problem in this is:


The form consists a field for selecting a particular layer from the various layer which are added on the main form


How to get the list of added layers of the main form in the query form dropdown list ??

I am sorry I cannot quite understand the issue you are encountering. Can I understand like this: there are quite a bunch of layers in the map control, from which you want to select out some of them(list in the dropdown)? If so, please try the following API:
 


Layer layer1 = winformsMap1.FindFeatureLayer("Layer1");
