Reverse Geocoding doesn’t run against the nationwide dataset I was provided with. My code works fine against the sample subset in Chicago. Is there a new dataset that I can get access to? I receive an out of memory exception when I pass in coordinate pairs to usaGeocoder.Match.
Reverse Geocode Failure
Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for reporting us this
issue. Now we can recreate this issue on our end. But our developer who take
charge of the GeoCoder is not in the office. He will work on this issue once he
back to office, probably on Wednesday.
Apologize for any inconvenience.
Regards,
Kevin
Hi Jonathan,
Apologize for our delay reply.
Our developer have found out the reason for this issue. Some invalid bounding
boxes are contained in the bounding box list. To resolve this, please download the latest bounding
boxes list file from ap.thinkgeo.com:5001/fbsharing/WOgrzf04,
and replace the zipBBX.txt in US geocoder data folder with the downloaded one.
Hope this would be helpful and if the issue
still persisted, please feel free to let us know.
Thanks,
Kevin
Hi Jonathan,
Sorry for the delay. There does be an issue on the GeoCoder dataset on zipBBX.txt , would you please replace it with the attached one and have a try?
If the issue persists, don’t hesitate to let us know.
Thanks,
Troy
zipBBX.txt (1.56 MB)
That seems to have done the trick
Hi Jonathan,
I am glad to hear that.
