Sample for RestrictExtent / MaximumScale

Hi Team, could you please add a small Sample for those 2 properties? I’m only finding very old implementations that don’t work with the modern api.

Maybe to add to this, my goal is to create the following behavior:

The user can add any shapefile in the application. Whenever a shapefile is loaded in, the Map Extent and MaxScale is restricted to a specific area so that you cannot pan the loaded shapefile entirely off the screen / zoom so far out that the shapefile is too small (e.g. 10% of the screen).

Hi Ben, thanks, I pulled and tried the sample, however it is so slow and freezes every few seconds trying to pan and zoom that it’s rough testing - is that just on my side?

Hi Julian, we couldn’t recreate it. Are you using the latest HowDoI (within ThinkGeo beta088)? or some older version? Did you see the issue in runtime or with debugger attached?
