Shape file rendering does not display all items

Hi,


I have a problem with ShapeFileFeatureLayer (Points). Index is rebuild. First I defined as simple PointStyle (Circle). Data will be drawn complete.


Now I define Cross as PointStyle. The file will be loaded but drawing will show not all items. When panning the map there will be more or less items drawn. Zooming in will display only some of the points.


Now I remove the Index and start my solution again. The index will be rebuild all items will be drawn.


What issue will force this behavior?


I have now defined the index will be rebuild every time.

We tried to recreate the issue in our end with difference point files but failed, would you mind to send us your sample code to recreate it? Does only the Cross point style decrease the points? From your description, it looks like the index file will be modified when using Cross point style.

yes the Cross point style modifies the index. I have deleted the index and rebuilt when loading the map. That fixes the problem. If I change the style, the index must be rebuilt.
