Should I use RTG file

 Hi,


Do I need RTG file when routing, İf no how can I route? İf yes I need rtg file for Turkey.

To use Map Suite Routing, you need a  line based layer (Road Network) and build the routing index (RTG file). You can build the RTG file using MapSuite Routing that comes with the product itself. If you want routable data for Turkey, you need to contact a data provider for that country or a world data provider such as Navteq.

   I used Map Suite Routing tool to build RTG file. İt builds the RTG file but it gives me a warning like "This method will return to many cells that might caouse performance problem. Please using GetIntersectingRowColumnRange method instead." 
  
 What should I do?

What is the size of the shapefile? Are you sure this is a line based shapefile? If you think the shapefile is appropriate for routing, could you please send it to us? You can contact support@thinkgeo.com for the instruction on how to send the shapefile to us. Thank you.

 I think it is not a line based shapefile. I contacted with our data provider and I am waiting now.

Also you can refer to the installed sample "BuildRoutingIndexFile.cs" about how to build different RTG files.
