What would you recommend for the hardware requirements(RAM, CPU, hard disk) on a production server for the application using WebEdition? We are using ImageCache. Does this folder get cleared from time to time?
Does IIS version cause slowness when the map images are drawn? I have deployed my applications on Windows Server 2008 IIS 7, XP II5 and Windows Server 2003 IIS 6(?) to try and it looks to me that the map draws faster on Windows Server 2008.

Also for our own WorldMapKit online service (maps.thinkgeo.com) and I can list its hardware configuration and maybe you can refer to it. It runs on Windows Server 2003 IIS 6 and we have the same two server to handle the requests and it had worked well.
