Hello,


I have the latest shpfile (tl_2010_us_zcta510.shp) from the US CENSUS and I get this error... I  was getting the same error with the provious one as well!  I try to load the file inside the map explorer but the Map explorer failed to load the shpfile because it wants to create the index but the index is already inside the folder!!!!!!!  I tried the validate but nothing was found..........  help is requested!

 It looks this file contained in a zip file about 500mb, I need download that first then test for you.

Hi Jean-marie,  
  
 I have download the tl_2010_us_zcta510.zip (Size 499 MB (524,053,347 bytes)) then unzip it. 
  
 Then I open the Map Suite Explorer in folder . When first time I load the tl_2010_us_zcta510.shp (Size: 798 MB (837,560,916 bytes)), it built both .idx and .ids files succeed and then load shape file succeed(It load a little slow), I close the exporler and try some other times, it loads the file succeed. 
  
 So I think that’s maybe caused by some environment reason in your PC, could you did some try like reboot machine if possible or repair the installation of our web edition?
