Hello Allen,
Thanks for your post, sorry to say, we don’t support splitting yet, you can vote this enhancement to helpdesk.thinkgeo.com/EnhancementTracker. This captures the enhancement request and provides visibility to the customer letting them know that the enhancement is on a list somewhere and that popularity of the enhancement helps set the priority of when the enhancement would be added to the product. This option doesn’t carry any cost for you.
Or if you need this function immediately, your account rep can contact you for a professional services.
And I think there is a workaround, when you create your tinyGeo file, you will pass in a precision, and in this time, constructor will decide if it need to be slitting, please try to adjust this precision value and see if you can get what you want.

Good morning Gary,
I just wanted to be sure the result I got was what was supposed to happen. I have created a ticket in our tracking system to have someone tinker with the precision to get a better feeling for what it does since, as you probably know, there’s not a lot of documentation on TinyGeo available yet and it appears there is even less on what adjusting the precision actually does. We’ve been working with SQL Server for more than two years and still don’t think we have everything figured out with the spatial indexing, so it’s all a long learning process.

Hello Allen,
Yes I agree, but I don’t have any other way now, sorry for the inconvenience.
Once we finished this function, we will post in the forums, please subscribe our forum then you won’t miss it.

Gary,
No problem…I don’t think we’ll be doing a whole lot with TinyGeo in the immediate future.
Even if I don’t have any open forum threads, I try to drop in and read what others posted once or twice a week, so I will know about it once it’s finished!

Hello Allen,
Just feel free to let us know your problems.

Just wanted to add my thoughts…I really like the TinyGeo format. We have created an "encoder" with a password option to encode shapefile to TinyGeo format.
Our main application accepts the TGeo format and requires the password to use (which we are encrypting in both the encoder and map display app).
This gives us a great way to distribute data to clients in a format they can not make use of outside of our application. Very nice!
Thanks.
