Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ) opl_GeoResource.axd:1023

 I am getting this error randomly.  



Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ) opl_GeoResource.axd:1023


I can get rid of it by clearing my cache, but I can't ask my users to do that every time it happens.



I do use Telerik's RadCompression and RadScriptManager.  That said, it looks like that it might actually be an error in the javascript, right?



Any ideas?

 Thanks for your post, could you please guide us how to recreate your problem? You mentioned your user meet this problem, so sounds like it’s a online project, is that possible can give us a account or a link can visit and see the problem?

Also, as an FYI I have found I can greatly reduce the occurrences by changing my code. 



I had so many issues with Telerik/RAM and the map working together I finally relented and put the map in the tabstrip's contenturl, which basically makes it an iframe.  This is when I saw frequent errors.  This is the post I have open for those issues. gis.thinkgeo.com/Support/DiscussionForums/tabid/143/aff/12/aft/10720/afv/topic/Default.aspx 



I then went back to not having it in an iframe, and the errors have been much less, but I have seen it happen here and there.

 As Johnny mentioned in that post, it’s possible that JS conflict is the root cause, we will debug your sample and try to find out.

 No worries.  I am obviously a developer too and I understand it is hard to program for everything.  Support for Telerik is huge though because so many people use it.  The combo of the two is awesome, and will be even better once they work well together. 
  
 I sent the sample aspx/cs.  Let me know if you need anything more.

 In your aspx/cs files, there are some namespacees we don’t have the component, and I tested the website for some minutes you provided in your email and no error occurs, could you please provide a sekf-contained sample then we can debug on it?
