Thanks for your demo and reporting the problem. We have recreate the issue, but unable to resolve it today. It comes from the upgrading from OpenLayers2.8 to 2.10. we are working on it now and will give you the result as soon as possible.
Hi Anil, Thanks, the same to you. We have made a bit progress, the JS exception “htmlfile: Invalid argument” just happened in the scenarios as following: 1. Embed the map into the Asp.net UpdatePanel. 2. Debug the application with IE.
The issue also has been reported to OpenLayers official website trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/ticket/2277 , but there isn’t any feedback. I guess there is something wrong with a general destroy function or the map’s destroy function. We’ll keep working on it tomorrow. Currently, the workaround is removing the UpdatePanel from map control. Thanks, Johnny
I have checked the status of OpenLayers ticket, it seems this issue will be fixed at version 2.11, so this problem is still not solved for right now, we will wait Openlayers’ new release and integrate to our WebEdition and then your problem will be fixed as well.
There are couple of problems (see the sample attached in this thread)
1) Markers Images on MarkerOverlay and MarkerOverlay1 are not seen. Is there a regression on usage of Proj4Projection. Note in our case, feature object are created in DecimalDegree and added to MarkerOverlay.
Note: If I were to use only non-projected markers on ThinkGeo maps (but no Google overlay) then they are seen on the map.
Thanks for your reporting, it's a bug in InMemoryMarkerOverlay and we have fixed it, please get the latest daily build (5.0.0.5 or later) to have another try.
Latest builds are not available on Customer portal. I still see downloads till May 03 ie. 4.5…0.184. When is Daily builds going to be updated on Customer Portal?
I installed WebEditionFull4.5.184.0DllPackage.zip on top of 5.0 but does not seem to resolve InMemoryMarkerOverlay problem not displaying projected markers in Google overlay. I will checkj back if for proper 5.0 Daily Build next week
