Where can i find basics of map suite?

I am a newbie to MapSuite and GIS concepts and also hurry to add GIS functionality to our WebApp.
I recently downloaded MapSuite 9.0 Mvc Edition (trial) to estimate it, But i just can’t find related documentations for basic concepts.
For example:

• What is Extent method (I know that, this is a rectangle to adjust the view port but) what coordinate does it take? why sometimes it raise an range exception? Is it related to MapUnit() function or not?
• What is MultiTile and SingleTile drawing?
• How can i transparently show multiple layers over each other.
• What is projection?
• What is Wms?

The only thing that i found, was the single “GetStart” page.
WHERE THE OTHER CONCEPTs GOES?
