Which edition i need to prefer for my we application

 hello Gray,


I am using asp.net 3.5 .so for this which verson i need to prefer.my client is ready to buy the original verson.for my web application which verson it supports.right now iam using trial verson think geo web edition with ajax.but some where in this discusson forum i found after 6.0.0.36 dlls are does not support for asp.net 3.5 which is comptable for .net4.0.so from all this questions i am confused which verson i need to prefer for my asp.net 3.5 verson web application.

 I’m glad everything working good for your application, yes we have upgrade support asp.net 3.5 to 4.0 after 6.0.36.0(notice we only upgrade in the development branch which the version is 6.0.xx.0, but release branch is 6.0.0.xx), so you can keep using the release branch(6.0.0.36 or later) and it works good with asp.net 3.5 until middle of 2013, we will public release 7.0 and all the branches will synchronize to asp.net 4.0 
  
 The only question is, if there is any new features we have added into WebEdition, we will only added into development branch until the 7.0 release, but all the bugs we have fixed will synchronize to release branch, so if using release branch you meet any problem again which you have met before but fixed, you can let us know, we will resolve it immediately.

so Now shall i inform to my client to buy Map suite we edition with Ajax .so that i can use that software to my web application right.now can u tell me the Latest verson name which suports to our aplication so that i can inform to my client.and one more question in future if we convert our applicatrion from .net 3.5 to .net 4.o this map suite also supports to our application or not.

 You are welcome, the on sales product version of WebEdition is 6.0, you can let your customer know and after you deploy your application, if you meet any problem, you can upgrade to newest release branch dll 6.0.0.237(today’s version) or later to fix the problem, if not you can just using the 6.0.0.0 
  
 And please don’t worry, after upgrade asp.net 4.0 we still can support your application very well.

 for 6.0.0.237 dlls i can download from Think geo web site right.and canyou provide gis editor also with this webedition or seperately we need to buy that gis editor.can we integrate gis editor to my web appliacation is is possible

 Thanks for your attention on GisEditor, but sorry to say, GisEditor depend on Wpf that can not integrate into Web, in another post you mentioned you want to your customer create their own layers, for this purpose, you can use WebEdition to fit, your account rep can contact you for a professional services. 
  
 For now, if you didn’t purchase the WebEdition, your can only get the evaluation dlls from helpdesk, after purchase, you can get the full edition, though the version number is the same, but they got different license.

 we are buying think geo full verson and we recive three files from think geo those are


1>MapSuiteWebEditionServer6.0.0.0


2>WebEditionFull6.0.0.0


3>think geo icons


 


while installing full edition its asking abour serial key.where i need to get this serial Key.

You can find the approprate serial keys by logging into the Customer Portal located at helpdesk.thinkgeo.com.  
  
 The serial keys will be located on the My Product Downloads tab.
