WorldMapKitWmsDesktopOverlay Class

HI there,


I am building a Desktop Application with Map Suite Desktop v4.0. If I use WorldMapKitWmsDesktopOverlay class.. will my map still work if I dont have an internet connection? Thanks.

 Thanks for your post and welcome to MapSuite discussion forum. 
  
 WorldMapKitWmsDesktopOverlay is based on wms server, so if you don’t have an Internet connection, this overlay can not display. If you want to display map data, you can use our WorldMapKit product, it contains local shape files data, so you don’t need to Internet connection. The detail for WoldMapKit product you can look at following webpage.

 Thank you for your reply.we actually already purchace your Map Suite Desktop Full Edition 4.0. May I know if the WorldMapKit is included in it? 
 Or is it something we have to get separately?

 I am glad to hear you already purchase our DesktopEdition. I think it is a separated product from WorldMapKit, WorldMapKit provide the map data and rendering code so that you can get easier to develop your application. However my responsibility is teachnical support that help you and other users to answer your questions solve your problem I am not familiar with sale, so the detail thing you can send email to our sales. 
  
 When you use Map Suite Desktop Full Edition 4.0 encouter any problem please let me know.
