Hi Klaus,
Sorry, I’m not sure your meaning by “data”. Actually, world map kit data is tiger data; but we modified and enhanced it a lot. So it’s big different from the original version. On the other hand, we will have the world map kit WMS service publish soon, and you can try this service later. So please keep an eye on our website these days.
Just let me know if you have more queries.
Thanks,
Howard
Got it, thanks. Having a world map kit WMS service published will be very nice. Would you also have a catalogue service through which one can browse for the list of available resources? That also would be nice.
Quick question related to this? Is it possible to change the white background of the WorldMapKitOverlay to transparent?
TIA.
Hi, Klaus
Thanks for your attention on MapSuite products. We have released the new version of WMS Server Edition product. You can get full detail through our website.
For the catalogue service of the WorldMapKit server you have mentioned in the last post, and I am sorry to say that we don’t support it right now. However, you can easily implement this feature using the MapSuite World Map Kit SDK extension, and with it you can customize the look and feel of the maps and add your own data to the mix. If you want to know more about it and please visit our website.
And for your another question about the background of WorldMapKitWmsWpfOverlay, and we set it transparent by default. You could check it by setting the Background property of the window.
Thanks,
Khalil
Khalil, thanks for the response.
In regards to the WorldMapKitWmsWpfOverlay, I see a white background where there is no map with the default background of transparent. This is the area I want transparent. Is this possible?
Klaus,
We have solved this problem. Please check out the latest WpfDesktopEdition DLL package whose version is 4.0.93.0 or later.
Just let me know if you have more queries.
Khalil
Yes, discovered that in the latest release. Thanks.
Hi Klaus,
No problem, just let us know if you have more queries.
Thanks,
