I'm porting my prototype from a winforms map to a wpf map and I'm not finding a quick conversion for the hover capability. I'm suspecting one of the many built-in layers may be what I'm after, but I could use a nudge in the right direction - or a full-code example would be lovelier. Thanks.

If I am not mistaken, what you are trying to find is the tool tip functionality supported in MapSuite2.0 Desktop Edition, while we do not have this functionality built-in in MapSuite3.0 Desktop Edition.
Let me see what kind of sample I can come up with.
