Hi ThinkGeo,
I am using following extent setting for CurrentExtent "In the Display a Simple map" with MouseCoordinate turned on.
However when I see the upperleft & lower left corner lat long values they are way too large. (see attached picture).
How do I get the closest bounding box on the map?

Unfortunately I cannot use the method ExtentHelper.SnapToZoomLevel() because the Width and Height in pixels of Map are not available before PostBack.

James is on vacation and may not be answering posts as often over the next few days so let me see if I can help. I’m not sure I understand what you want to do exactly, what do you mean by get the closest bounding box of the map?
Do you want the map to be zoomed in farther than the CurrentExtent_Bigger picture and have it zoomed in where only data inside of the This Is the Current Extent box is shown?

It seems that " Bounding box of map" > Desired Current extent.
I want the map to be zoomed in further in picture CurrentExtent_Bigger and have it zoomed in where only data inside of the "This is Curent Extent" is visible.
-If you look at ZoomExtent_2, the desired extent is indicated in rectangle shape which is much smaller than Map extent.
Do you want the map to be zoomed in farther than the CurrentExtent_Bigger picture and have it zoomed in where only data inside of the This Is the Current Extent box is shown?
