Multiple labels on a line

I need to be able to show two labels on my line.  An example of what I am talking about is in the RulerOverlay example  the label for the distance is shown in the middle of the line.  On the static point of the line I need a label that is displaying the Line of Bearing.  I have the equation for calculating LOB but do not know how to add it in the DrawCore.
